I did not participate in the 5th Jam, unfortunately, due to having overworked myself for C97, and I was going through lots of different real-life struggles at the time. Something that did not come out of my 4th Jam works for the game "The Adventures of Reimu and Marisa" that never saw the light of day in June last year was an ending theme, and while this right here probably isn't what it would have sounded like at all, this is my favorite composition I made since the 4th Jam took place, and I'd imagine this to be an ending theme of some sort. I composed it to celebrate my 19th birthday in October, and the original was acoustic and featured other instruments such as flutes, vibraphones, and different sounding pianos. While my birthday and the memories surrounding it aren't very good, this composition of mine is still my favorite I've done to this day, as it really brings a powerful and emotional feel to it that none other of mine does. It could be used to represent an ending of a hard-fought adventure, but it does not symbolize the definitive end as much as it symbolizes the end of the beginning for me and my journey forward in life. I just hope my piano mastering wasn't too terrible (lol).
